King Trumpet Oyster mushrooms are best kept in the coldest, most low traffic area of your refrigerator. Storing them in the crisper is ideal for their safety, however, most mushrooms need access to fresh air, so, it is VERY important to OPEN the vents or use the “fruit” setting for your crisper. We recommend loosely wrapping them in a paper bag or cloth so the mushrooms still have access to fresh air. King Trumpets do not respond well to tightly wrapped plastics. Our fresh King Trumpet mushrooms can be stored for roughly 5-7 days under these recommendations.
