The successful cultivation of mushrooms with this product will require specific skills and knowledge to effectively prepare a sterile environment for growing. A controlled, sterile space is key to preventing contamination. We highly recommend researching home laboratory preparation prior to purchase.  

All cultures are made to order and can be expected to ship within 3-7 business days of order placement. We highly recommend selecting USPS Priority Mail, USPS Priority Mail Express, UPS 3 Day Select, UPS 2nd Day Air, or UPS Next Day Air for our Mushroom Cultures due to the sensitive nature of the product.

    Mushroom cultures are used to inoculate grain spawn with the mushroom strain you wish to grow. Our Liquid Cultures are grown in a sterile environment. Our 10-12cc Liquid Mushroom Cultures will inoculate two 5lb bags of grain.

    Due to the nature of our products, processing time frames can vary. Please feel free to contact our Customer Service Department at 864-764-1879 if you have any questions prior to ordering.

    We recommend storing liquid cultures between 40-75 degrees Fahrenheit. Liquid cultures can be stored in the refrigerator for 2-3 months before use. Do not freeze.
